What this site stores on your device, why, and for how long. In short: two items only, both technical, no tracking.
This site uses no analytics cookies, does not profile its visitors and transfers no data for advertising purposes. No traffic analysis tool is installed. The only two pieces of information that stay on your device are there to make it work: remembering that you have seen the notice and, in one case only, the language you are reading in. The questions below describe them one by one, together with what happens on the «Careers» page, the only one that relies on an external provider.
A tiny file a website leaves in your browser to remember something from one page to the next. The law treats other forms of storage on your device in the same way, even though they are not technically cookies: on this page we call them all cookies.
No. There are no analytics or profiling cookies, no advertising pixels and no traffic measurement tool: neither Google Analytics nor any equivalent.
Two items, both technical. A preference that remembers you closed the cookie notice, and a language cookie that only appears in certain cases. The next two questions describe them one by one.
When you press «Got it», the site writes the entry isab-cookie-notice-v1 with the value “ok” in your browser, so the notice does not reappear on every page. It is not a cookie and it is never sent to any server: it stays on your device. It has no automatic expiry and is removed by clearing the site’s data.
It is called NEXT_LOCALE, it contains only “it” or “en”, and it is a session cookie: it disappears when you close the browser. It is not written on every visit — it appears only if the language of the page differs from your browser’s, or if you switch language with the selector. If your browser is set to Italian and you read in Italian, you receive no cookie at all.
Because consent is required for non-essential cookies, and there are none here. Both items are technical: one remembers a choice you made, the other the language you are reading in. The law requires us to inform you, not to ask your permission, and that is what the notice at the foot of the page does.
Not today: no analytics tool is installed and the site does not count visits. If one is introduced in future, this page will say so, with the name, purpose and duration of its cookies, and — if the tool requires it — you will be asked to choose before it is switched on, with the option to change your mind at any time.
Yes, and it is the only one. The job listings come from ALLIBO® RECRUIT, the recruitment system used by ISAB: when you open that page your browser requests two resources from the domain joblink.allibo.com. As with any request on the web, the provider receives your IP address, your browser type and the fact that you are viewing that page.
In its own notice, ALLIBO states that it uses technical cookies only: session cookies needed for its pages to work, and cookies for anti-robot checks. No analytics cookies, no profiling. The full notice is on the provider’s site, at joblink.allibo.com.
The form is not on this site: it opens on an ALLIBO® platform, in a new tab. The data you enter, including your CV, is collected there, and before you submit it you will find the privacy notice for applications.
No. The button on the Whistleblowing page opens isab.segnalazioni.net, a separate platform. This site neither receives nor stores anything you write there.
No. They are downloaded and served from our own domain, so opening a page does not make your browser contact Google’s servers. This is deliberate: fonts loaded from external domains disclose the IP address of the reader.
From your browser settings, under site data: look for isab.com and clear it. If you delete the preference, the cookie notice will appear again on your next visit. Neither item is needed to reach any content, so the site keeps working.
Yes, as on any website: the infrastructure hosting it records the IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time. These serve security and troubleshooting, not profiling.
